What to look for when buying a 8V XR2i
Make sure the shocks arent leaking as this will set you back around 400 notes for all four. Check the speedo cable and be sure the Speed Controller is still there (other wise the car will stammer at around 2000 - 2500 RPM and you will feel it). Check around the back for rust under the rear arches. and while you are round there, look under the car at the rool bar coz they always snap there ;-) all of the above are MOT fails so be carefull you don`t get one with a dodgy MOT Also check for rotten patches around the door seals and pertol cap
